Polishing balls and grinding balls

Polishing balls are used to smooth and polish workpieces. In barrels or vibrators, the polishing balls glide over their surfaces and polish them.

Grinding balls are used, for example, in ball mills in the food industry to shred food. Other applications include the shreding of cement, coal or paint pigments.

Polishing and grinding balls made of steel are available in the following standard materials:

• 1.3505 – chrome steel
• 1.0413 – C 15
• 1.0616 – C85
• 1.4034 – AISI 420C
• 1.4301 – AISI 304
• 1.4401 – AISI 316

Special materials according to requirements and intended use depending on the application, we can also offer balls made from other materials such as glass or ceramic.

Diameters

We supply the polishing and grinding balls in standard dimensions or according to customer requirements.

Standard quality

Diameter tolerance +/- 0,125 mm

Of course, we can also supply the balls in other qualities in accordance with DIN 5401, ISO 3290 or ABMA.
